LED Holiday Lights
LED Christmas lights and decorations use up to 90 percent less energy than standard X-mas incandescent lights and LED Christmas Bulbs are safer to use as they create much less heat and have no glass bulbs to replace or break. Our Christmas LED Bulbs can last for up to 20 years (20,000 to 100,000 hours). Why pay a few dollars more per box for our LED?... Because LED Strings will cost you far less over time and last longer. You may never have to buy them again. If you run them more than 8-10 hours a day while spreading your holiday cheer, they may even pay for themselves in energy cost with in the first Christmas season.
LED Christmas Lights for a Brighter Holiday
Trying to figure out how you can decorate for Christmas, but at the same time be energy efficient? These days so many of us are looking for ways we can help save our environment and be more conscientious with the things we use on a daily basis. I might just have some answers for you. One solution; decorate your home and tree with all those flashy Christmas lights, but be energy efficient - use LED's instead of regular incandescent lights.
The LED Christmas tree lights aren’t only better for the environment, (they use 90-99 percent less energy), and are 10 times brighter than incandescent as well. Incandescent lights usually burn out easily, or the whole string malfunctions if there is a problem with just one bulb. Some LED lights will last up to 50 thousand hours and the whole strand of lights won’t go out if there’s a bad bulb.
I have little ones in the house, so LED’s are perfect for me. LED lights are cool to the touch and some have special plastic coding, which make them nearly impossible to break and much safer than the regular glass bulbs sold for Christmas decorating. So, if you’re looking for a smarter, more energy efficient, cost effective and safer way to decorate this holiday season, throw out the old incandescent lights and get yourself some LED lights to decorate with.
One VERY important thing to remember is to never mix LED and incandescent strings together. The incandescent Christmas lights use about 10 times the amount of power the standard LED Christmas lights use. If you mix the two together you’re running the risk of having a possible overload to your circuit. The correct place to put your incandescent lights is right in the trash can, or find a place that will recycle them for you.
LED's are pretty much maintenance free and we’re all aware that they are more efficient than incandescent, but did you know they are more energy efficient than florescent as well. LED lights have the ability to plug in a huge amount of strands and you only have to use one outlet. LED lights are the most flexible type of lighting available; more so than ever before. Some LED lights have a really sturdy plastic coating on them that makes them close to indestructible.
I love that the LED’s aren’t going to burn my fingertips or overheat my electronics, but because of their cool technology no transformers are needed for these lights either. So, this holiday season I am definitely going to stock up on some LED lights and get rid of those old florescent and incandescent ones. Nothing is more beautiful than driving around during the Christmas season looking at all the pretty lights people have decorated their homes with. Do your part in saving our planet too, buy LED lights this season!
For the Eco-friendly among you, you can do your part for the environment by recycling your old strings of Christmas lights after you've switched over to LED lighting. It's a great way to dispose of the old incandescent, and maybe make you feel a little bit better about lighting with LED's.
